Emojify Image is an iOS application developed and operated as an independent app. Questions about this policy can be sent to nanisatho.web@gmail.com.
We collect only what is necessary to provide the core feature — generating emoji suggestions from your photo.
Each time you tap "Emojify" the following is transmitted to our backend (Google Cloud Functions, region us-central1) and forwarded to Google's Gemini AI model for analysis:

None of this data is stored on our servers after the analysis is complete.
The AI result (a list of emoji suggestions) is returned to your device and, if you choose to save it, stored locally in your app's private sandbox only.
Firebase Authentication creates a random anonymous user ID (UUID) on first launch. This ID is sent with every request to Firebase Cloud Functions and Firebase App Check solely to:
This ID is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or any personally identifying information.
The Firebase SDK automatically generates a Firebase Installations ID. This is used internally by Firebase for analytics aggregation and SDK functionality. It is not linked to your personal identity.

Your photo and metadata are processed by Google's infrastructure under Google's privacy terms when a generation request is made.

GDPR (EU/UK users): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, and port data we hold about you. Because we do not store personally identifiable data on our servers, the in-app deletion above fulfils these rights in full for most users. Contact us if you need further assistance.
CCPA (California users): We do not sell personal information. You have the right to know what data we collect (see Section 2) and to request deletion (see above).
This app is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used this app without parental consent, contact nanisatho.web@gmail.com and we will address the concern promptly.
We will update the effective date at the top of this page whenever the policy changes. Continued use of the app after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
