App: Emojify Image
Contact: nanisatho.web@gmail.com

How It Works

  1. Pick a photo — tap the camera button to take a new photo, or choose one from your library.
  2. Emojify — the app sends the photo to Google's Gemini AI, which analyses the content and suggests relevant emojis.
  3. Browse results — swipe through up to 5 emoji suggestions. Tap "Load more" to generate a fresh set.
  4. Edit — tap any emoji result to open the canvas editor. Drag, pinch, and rotate emoji overlays. Use the toolbar to draw emoji lines, spray emojis, add combos, and adjust formatting.
  5. Export — tap the export button to save or share your finished image.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the app ask for camera and photo library access?

The app needs photo library access to let you pick a photo, and camera access if you want to take a new photo. You can grant only photo library access and the app will still work fully.

What data does the app send?

When you tap "Emojify", the app sends your compressed photo (max 512 × 512 px), photo location, photo date, device model, device language, and iOS version to Google's Gemini AI for analysis. This data is used only to generate emoji suggestions and is not stored after the response is returned. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Does the app store my photos on a server?

No. Your photos are processed transiently by the AI and are never stored on our servers. Results you choose to save are stored only on your device, inside the app's private storage.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings (tab at the bottom) → Delete All My Data. This removes your entire emoji history from your device and deletes your anonymous account.

The app isn't generating results — what's wrong?

  • Check your internet connection. The generation step requires an active connection.
  • Make sure you've accepted the privacy consent on the first-launch screen.
  • If the issue persists, try closing and reopening the app.
  • Contact us at nanisatho.web@gmail.com if the problem continues.

Can I use the canvas editor without internet?

Yes. The canvas editor, all drawing tools, and photo export work fully offline. Only the "Emojify" generation step requires internet.

How do I undo changes in the canvas editor?

Tap the undo button (↩) in the top toolbar to step back through your last 20 actions.

Where is my emoji history saved?

History is stored in the app's private Documents folder on your device, protected by iOS encryption. It is never uploaded to the cloud. You can view it in the History tab.

Can I change the number of emojis or filter by color?

Yes — on the main screen, expand Advanced to set the emoji count and filter by color palette before tapping "Emojify."
